 HSJ Award for Donisthorpe?

We are all delighted here at Donisthorpe to announce that we have been shortlisted for the “Improving Care with Technology” category of the Health Service Journal (HSJ) awards. We are even prouder to be the only Care Home to have been shortlisted for any of the HSJ awards.

The nomination was received due to the new system that Donisthorpe Hall has been piloting called SystmOne. SystmOne was created by The Phoenix Partnership (TPP) and is a way of sharing electronic medical records between our staff, GP’s and other urgent care providers. This allows our staff at Donisthorpe to deliver safer, more personalised and better coordinated care to our residents.

Our registered manager Suzy Musgrave went down to London last week to deliver a presentation to the Panel, which was made up of influential figures from the healthcare sector. The awards will be presented on 19 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. We all have our fingers crossed here and will keep you updated!!
